Ground Plant Based Coffee in Swansea is co-owned by vegan chef and consultant, Helen Wilson and three-times national Sup Surf Champion, Matt-Barker Smith. Helen has spent the last 17 years promoting, teaching and creating vegan food. She has delivered dozens of talks and cookery demonstrations across the UK and her recipes have appeared in many major food magazines, books and websites.

At Ground, you can enjoy speciality coffee from Extract Coffee Roasters in Bristol, alongside handmade vegan cakes, bakes, savouries and full lunch plates.  In October 2023, a full inside seating area with log burner was opened.

Ground Plant Based Coffee in Swansea is recommended in Wales’ No.1 Independent Coffee Guide 2023.

Ground has been rated 5 ‘Very Good’ by the Food Standards Agency.
